About

The Corvette Club of Marion County was founded in 1984 by Glen Sims, Roxy Sims, and Roger DeConna as a way to meet new people who share the love for the Corvette. The club has remained active and continues to grow by maintaining long time members and welcoming new members. Glen and Roxy are still members and actively involved in the club. The club celebrated its 30 year anniversary in 2014 during our annual July picnic on Lake Kerr at a member's lovely residence.

Our club was honored with an article about our anniversary and club history in the National Corvette Museum' magazine American Sports Car.

Presently our club has over 200 active members. We have an attractive club logo that we encourage members to wear on club shirts and display on our cars with a static cling. Information on these will be provided to all new members.
