About

Often people ask us if the Western States Corvette Council is a Corvette Club, the answer is that we are a combination of clubs or often referred to as an “umbrella” organization. Clubs and their members make up the membership of WSCC which to date are 56 voting and non-voting Corvette clubs. Although our base is in N California, we have clubs from as far East as Colorado to the Pacific Southwest and Northwest including Alaska to the West. WSCC is also responsible for covering our “Council of Clubs” with general liability insurance, competitive driving event insurance and Directors and Officers insurance for the voting clubs under our umbrella. We also have a competition code, which governs the rules, regulations and organization of the various events that our clubs offer. WSCC enjoys a very good working relationship with General Motors and the National Corvette Museum. We have a seat on the Board of Directors of the National Corvette Museum along with the other two National Corvette Club organizations NCRS and NCCC.

In 1965 a group of people put together an idea that the West should have it’s own Council of Clubs and on July 2, 1965 in Colorado Springs, Colorado Western States Corvette Council (WSCC) was founded. WSCC was incorporated in 1968 in Sacramento, California and is a 501(c) (7) not for profit organization.
