Removal of Radio Fuse Before Attempting to Program/Reprogram Modules Using Service Program System (SPS)

2005 Chevrolet Corvette with CD Player or Changer AM/FM with MP3 Player (RPO US8 or US9)

Important:

• Failure to remove the radio fuse prior to programming/reprogramming any module using the SPS service procedure may result in an inoperative radio.

DO NOT remove the radio fuse when programming/reprogramming the radio.

The radio may interrupt Class-2 programming and/or reprogramming of other modules on the buss.

Prior to programming/reprogramming any module using the SPS service procedure, the technician is required to remove the radio fuse.

2005 -- Corvette

Remove the Radio/S-Band/VICS 15-amp fuse from the I/P electrical center (passenger side) prior to SPS reprogramming.

Program/Reprogram the appropriate module that requires service.

Reinstall the radio fuse.
