TO:  ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS

In cases of failure of the aluminum radiator, 1960-61 Corvettes so equipped, the unit is to be replaced with a new aluminum radiator.

The policy adjustment period for the replacement of the Corvette aluminum radiator is for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first.  In the event of failure, no repairs are to be attempted in the field.  The servicing dealer is to contact the Zone Service Department so immediate steps can be taken to procure a new radiator.  if a failure should occur beyond the 12 months or 12,000 mile period, the servicing dealer is to contact the Zone Service Department immediately for further instructions regarding replacement.

Each replaced radiator is to be returned to the Zone M. R. Room and shall include the following information:  Vehicle Serial Number, Delivery Date, Mileage, Type of Operation (Street use and/or Competition) Brand Type of Antifreeze used, if any.
