In instances when Corvette tachometers operate erratic, the cable limit stack may be off, necessitating re-working as listed.
- Loosen and remove tach cable from the drive unit at rear of generator.
- Remove the two tach drive unit attaching screws from the commutator end frame.
- Rotate the drive unit 180o, and reinstall the attaching screws.
- Reinstall the tach cable to the drive unit.
