This is to advise that approximately June 15th the vehicle serial number plate has been modified to accommodate the letters "DD" (Delivery Date).  The space after these letters is to be used to stamp the month and year in which the unit is delivered.

The fairness with which our warranty is administered will be effected materially by the importance you place upon this program.

The continued good owner relations being enjoyed by Chevrolet Dealers, as well as the strong loyalty to our product, could be affected adversely without 100 percent cooperation of Chevrolet Dealers with this inspection program.

Will you please recheck your deliver procedure and review with the parties responsible, the steps to be followed to insure 100 percent compliance with this program in your dealership.
