CORVETTE WITH 396 MARK IV ENGINES SHOULD NOT INCORPORATE THE STEERING DAMPER (No. 168-NFA)

The assembly plant has built (47) L-78 Mark IV Corvettes with the production steering damper.  This part should be deleted with this engine option.  Under certain limit stack conditions, an interference may result between the engine oil pan and damper.
