TO:  ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS IN THE ST. LOUIS ZONE:

In order to simplify material scheduling and handling problems in our assembly plants and to minimize delay in production of dealer orders, it has been decided to cancel Option A02, Windshield Tinted Glass, for all passenger cars.  The A01, All Window Tinted Glass Option, will of course still be available.

All sold orders calling for A02, Windshield Tinted Glass, now in our scheduling and production systems will be filled as specified, as well as any retail orders you may have on hand not yet sent to our Processing Center.  The latter however should be forwarded to the Center in the next day or so.  Later on it is is likely that we will have to contact you to get a decision it is likely that we will have to contact you to get a decision on changing any of your unscheduled stock orders to either the Tinted All Windows Option or plain glass in all windows.

We will appreciate your making sure that your sales staff and the individual responsible for ordering your cars are aware of this change.
