TO: ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS

Condition:
The radio may lose one or more functions, or may lock up with no functions, on the 1990 Y Car. Some of the symptoms may be loss of tape eject, no visible display, no change of function when buttons are pushed, or the radio may just show the time.

Correction:
There is no permanent correction for this condition at this time.  It can be temporarily corrected by removing the "radio" fuse for one minute, and then reinstalling.  An updated bulletin will be issued when a service correction has been developed.

This condition has been corrected for 1991.

The radio SHOULD NOT be removed and sent to a repair station for this condition.
