This bulletin is being issued to revise the upper and lower ball joint stud nut tightening specifications in the Front Suspension sub-section and the Rear Suspension sub-section of the Service Manual.

Front Suspension

1997-2004 Upper Ball Joint Stud Nut
20 N·m (15 lb ft) + 250 degrees

2005 Upper Ball Joint Stud Nut
30 N·m (22 lb ft) + 225 degrees

1997-2005 Lower Ball Joint Stud Nut
30 N·m (22 lb ft) + 180 degrees

Rear Suspension

1997-2004 Upper Ball Joint Stud Nut
20 N·m (15 lb ft) + 250 degrees

2005 Upper Ball Joint Stud Nut
30 N·m (22 lb ft) + 195 degrees

1997-2005 Lower Ball Joint Stud Nut
30 N·m (22 lb ft) + 180 degrees
