Prior to performing any diagnostics, please check the Onboard Development screen GPS information.
Press the following button combinations to enter Onboard Development Screen:
Buick ModelsPower+Home+Menu - release Home first after Development screen is displayed
Cadillac ModelsHome+Volume down or Home+Mute
Chevrolet ModelsPower+Home+Back or Power+Home+Menu
GMC ModelsPower+Home+Menu
Once in Development Screen press NAVI, then Sensors, then GNSS, check Status and GNSS System. If showing Unknown and Invalid - update the HMI with USB and SPS programming. Refer to Human Machine Interface Control Module Programming and Setup in SI.
If showing No Fix and GPS please continue with normal diagnostics referring to SI.
