Condition |
Some customers may comment that the ZR1’s exposed carbon fiber hood parts appear to have a yellow tint appearance when compared to other carbon fiber parts. |
Cause |
The cause of the condition may be that the carbon fiber hood and engine cover use a different impregnated carbon fiber resin, which is more heat resistant. The different resin may cause a color shift; and the lighting source and direction of view will sometimes highlight this color shift. |
Correction |
There is no problem with the paint application on these carbon fiber parts, and NO repair attempts should be made to change the color of the parts. |
