Condition |
Some customers may comment on the following:
When checking the vehicle for DTC’s, the following may be set: ECM: P0700 and/or P2535 TCM: P2535 BSCM: P2535 IPC: U300D These concerns may be more likely to occur after using the remote vehicle start. |
Cause |
The cause of this concern could be the BCM ignition 1 relay (KR73) driver remaining energized after the ignition is turned off. This will apply power to circuit 5199 for the KR73 ignition main relay, keeping it energized even though the ignition is off, example Document ID: 5430865. |
Follow normal SI diagnostic procedures for DTC P2535 and if it is found that the BCM is keeping power on circuit 5199 after the ignition is turned off, then replace the BCM.
