Some reports of power steering pump rackets cracking and/or breaking have been received on 1968 Corvettes equipped with 427 Cu. In. engine.
Effective in production since late March, a redesigned bracket has been used to correct the above condition.
In service when cracked or broken power steering pump brackets are encountered, they should be replaced with the following:
