A highly efficient fuel filter mounted near the carburetor on some 1957 and 1958 models gives the Chevrolet owners protection from foreign material and resulting carburetor problems.
This filter has a removable sediment bowl for clean-out and a replaceable element.
Filter elements should be replaced every 5,000 miles as covered in Owner’s Manual Maintenance Chart to insure trouble free operation for the customer.
