GENERATOR BELT MISALIGNED DUE TO IMPROPER INSTALLATION OF GENERATOR BRACKET - 1960 Corvette Equipped With Fuel Injection
In the event difficulty is experienced with fan belt misalignment on fuel injection Corvettes only, check to see that the generator mounting bracket is assembled properly. When bracket is installed upside down, the generator is moved 1/4" too far forward. The bracket must be installed with the off-centre holes downward, as shown in Fig. 20.
