Voltage Regulator Failures in the 1970 Integrated Delcotrons - Corvette and Heavy Duty Truck
There have been many reports of failed integrated regulators. If the voltage regulator is found to be the source of an overcharged battery, after checking the complete electrical system, replace regulator assembly with regulator assembly, Part Number 1116387. This part has been released by Engineering but will take about one month to get into service stock.
The above part number will also be used to service 1969 integrated Delcotrons. it will be necessary to grind or file off the locating pin. (See Figure Below).
