National Corvette Museum Announces LLumar® as their Preferred Paint Protection Film Brand
If you’ve bought a new Corvette over the last several years, you’ve no doubt heard about XPEL Paint Protection Film which has been highly popular with owners in protecting their Corvette’s paint from damage due to stone chips and road debris.
XPEL used to be the paint protection film of choice at the National Corvette Museum, but as of today, that’s now changed. Below is the official press release from the NCM announcing their partnership with Eastman Performance Films, LLC and their LLumar PPF product:
St. Louis, Missouri, USA: May 3, 2021 – Eastman Performance Films, LLC is excited to announce that as of May 3rd, 2021, LLumar® is National Corvette Museum’s preferred paint protection film (PPF) brand. This relationship is a remarkable fit for both organizations, with the National Corvette Museum dedicated to preserving Corvette’s past, present and future, and LLumar PPF dedicated to preserving automotive finishes with innovative technology.
“It’s a pleasure to officially bring together National Corvette Museum – its heritage and its fans –with the LLumar brand,” said Darrell Reed, commercial director, Eastman Performance Films. “This is an excellent opportunity to educate Corvette enthusiasts about LLumar paint protection film, and how it can help them enjoy their cars to the fullest.”
LLumar paint protection film is a self-healing, virtually invisible layer of protection that is professionally applied over paint to help defend against rocks, sand, salt, insects and other threats to a flawless finish. This makes it an ideal solution for passionate Corvette owners who would rather focus on the thrill of driving than worry about scratches. The LLumar brand offers a wide range of PPF products to answer personal needs from everyday road damage to heightened defense for track driving. LLumar also offers matte PPF that’s able to transform the finish of glossy factory paint. New innovations include Valor which features PPF and ceramic coating benefits for one and done protection, and Select Black PPF – perfect for roofs, hoods and mirrors to create a custom look.
“We are pleased to have Eastman Performance Films join the National Corvette Museum as the preferred PPF brand,” shared Glenn Johnson, National Corvette Museum Board Chairman. “As one of the world’s leading manufacturers and marketers of high-performance window and paint protection films for automotive applications, they take great pride in protecting both Corvettes as well as other vehicles our enthusiasts own and love. We are excited to team up with them and look forward to connecting our friends with their large network of dealers to preserve those beautiful Corvettes.”
As a preferred PPF brand for National Corvette Museum, LLumar will be featured throughout 2021 in a variety of the Museum’s print and online publications. Ads, social media posts and educational blog content will relay the benefits of LLumar PPF to Corvette owners. LLumar will also have a presence at the Museum’s popular 27th Anniversary Celebration at the Museum on September 2-4, 2021.
