One man in Springfield, Ohio isn’t having a very good Christmas holiday this morning.
Tom Tuttle of Springfield, Ohio was in his house as he heard a loud cracking sound followed by a crash. When he looked out his window, his beloved 2005 Corvette that was parked near an oak tree, had an enormous branch laying on top of it.
The branch destroyed the roof and was laying across the inside of the car .
Tuttle is the original owner of the 6-speed Corvette and the car currently has only 20,000 miles.
Even though the weather was calm with no high winds, “the tree was probably just ready to go,” said Tuttle, who has owned several Vettes over the years.
Even though the 2005 Corvette was Tuttle’s favorite, he remained in good cheer as he tried to make the best out of a bad situation. “I darn near cried,” he said. “It’s too late to put on my Christmas list.”
