Specifications – 2019 Corvette ZR1
Just a short time ago, the 2019 Corvette ZR1 was unveiled to the automotive media at the Dubai International Auto Show.
From what we’re hearing, the ZR1 will be the most powerful Corvette ever built with 755 horsepower (SAE) and 715 lb-ft of torque.
Top speed will easily exceed 200 mph.
Additional features include “standard and optional airbags with mounted wings” that will help keep the ZR1 more firmly planted on the racetrack. We’re not exactly sure what they mean by airbags, but I’m sure we’ll find out soon.
The ZR1 will offer two aerodynamic packages – one of which comes with the large rear wing that we’ve been seeing in a lot of the spy photos. That rear wing is good for 950 pounds of downforce.
The ZR1 will be limited production with possible numbers reaching 9,700 worldwide. Starting price is expected to be $120,000 US.
If you take a look at the interior shot, it looks like the ZR1 will come with some pretty nice finishes inside as seen on the center console and sides of the seats. You can also see a ZR1 emblem at the bottom of the center console under the climate control buttons.
Also notice what appears to be an orange seat belt next to the driver side seat.
