Crash near Verbena, Alabama causes delays, damages Corvettes

According to WSFA TV out of Alabama, a Jack Cooper Transport Truck carrying a load of brand new Corvettes from the Bowling Green Corvette Assembly Plant, rubbed shoulders with another 18-wheeler on Interstate 65 near Chilton County, Alabama earlier today.

While cause of the accident was not disclosed, Alabama State Trooper Sgt. Steve Jarrett said the crash closed one southbound lane while officials worked to clear the scene.

Photos released by the Alabama State Police show at least three of the Corvette sustaining heavy damage.  Two of the Corvettes were actually hanging off the back of the truck.

Luckily nobody was injured in the accident.
