The 2017 Corvette Dream Giveaway ended with John Williamson, a retired Pennsylvania steel worker winning two Corvettes – a 1963 Corvette Sting Ray Coupe and a custom Lingenfelter Signature Edition 2018 Corvette Z06 as well as a check for $50,000.
The Dream Giveaway organization once again will pull a new winner for this year’s Corvette Giveaway raffle: a 1965 C2 Corvette Sting Ray and a 2018 C7 Corvette Grand Sport tuned by Lingenfelter.
The 1965 Corvette has been completely restored and modified with a Lingenfelter-tuned 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine under the hood producing 550 horsepower. Other upgrades include a five-speed manual transmission, air-conditioning and power steering, brakes and windows.
Its exterior color scheme matches the C7 Corvette Grand Sport with Arctic White and red striping inside and out.
The 2018 Grand Sport comes equipped with the top-of-the-line 3LT trim package, which includes the most luxurious options offered in Corvette.
Lingenfelter’s performance upgrades bring the Grand Sport’s engine power up to 600 horsepower from the 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine and includes a performance cam and custom tuning.
