[VIDEO] 2018 Corvette ZR1 Convertible Spotted at a Gas Station Fueling Up

Thanks to Instagram member, robert_hellcat, we have a short video clip of a 2018 Corvette ZR1 convertible spotted at a gas station in Sterling Heights, Michigan a few nights ago.

Not much more is revealed here, except that you really get a good idea of how large the hood bulge is and the massive size of the air intakes on the front-end.

Pulling away from the gas station, you don’t really hear any supercharger wine, but whatever is under that hood, has to be pretty stout!

Below, we have another video taken by a driver who spotted the same or similar prototype sitting at a stop light.  What’s interesting to note here is that this prototype appears to be riding on silver painted wheels instead of black:

While GM has remained “mum” on when the new ZR1 will debut, it’s believed that the car will come out of hiding sometime in this calendar year. Stay tuned!
