2020 C8 Corvette is Officially Sold Out: FAKE NEWS!

Yesterday we reported that a couple 2020 Corvettes made an appearance at the Concours d’Elegance of America Held in Michigan where GM designers, Tom Peters and Michael Simcoe spoke about the challenges behind designing a mid-engine Corvette.

GM Design Chief, Michael Simcoe later told the media that 2020 C8 Corvette orders were either full, or close to being sold out. Wow, did the media world have a field day with that!

Unfortunately, that is completely FALSE. 2020 Corvette orders are NOT SOLD OUT. While orders have been extremely hot, and the 2020 Corvette production run is likely to be one of the largest we’ve seen in several years, several Chevrolet dealerships still have plenty of allocation.

We spoke with MacMulkin Chevrolet of Nashua, New Hampshire – the second largest Corvette dealer in the world. Unlike some Chevy dealerships, they were more than happy to share with us that they have allocation for 1,172 2020 Corvette orders. While some smaller dealerships across the country with minimal allocation, may be sold out, they have plenty of openings available.

They went on to tell us that response to the new generation of Corvette has been off the charts ever since the unveiling of the car in California on July 18th and email inquiries and phone calls have been non-stop. They are still accepting deposits on orders, so if you think you can’t get your hands on a 2020 Corvette now, it’s FAKE NEWS. Contact MacMulkin Chevrolet here with your order details and a member of their Corvette Team will be in touch with you.

If you haven’t had a chance to see the new 2020 C8 Corvette in person, the car is currently making its way across the country on a Mobile Tour.

MacMulkin Chevrolet will have the brand new Corvette on display at the dealership next Wednesday, August 7th from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM. There is no cost to attend the viewing and you can register on EventBrite to reserve a spot.
