Chevrolet Raises Pricing on the 2023 Corvette Stingray

Late yesterday afternoon, Chevy dealers were informed that Chevrolet would be increasing the MSRP and the pricing of some of the options for the 2023 Corvette Stingray.

As per the notification sent out to dealers:

Chevrolet is announcing revised prices effective for vehicles produced on or after June 13, 2022. This revision affects base model prices for 2023 MY Corvette. Select options will also be revised. Dealer invoice amounts will increase accordingly. Dealer discounts remain unchanged.

Dealer price schedules will be available in GlobalConnect effective June 13, 2022.

Retail sold order price protection eligibility dates are dictated by the customer and dealer order dates as follows:

-Customer order date must be prior to the date of the price increase.

-GM systems order date (date dealer enters in GM system) must be no more than one workday after date of the price increase.

These units will be invoiced at prices in effect at the date of production; however, the dealer open account will automatically be credited for the price increase once the unit has been delivered.

Price Protection

So what does this mean for customers that have placed deposits at dealers for a 2023 Corvette?

Basically, dealers have until the end of business today to get any and all 2023 Corvette orders entered into GM’s Order WorkBench system in order to lock-in the initial pricing prior to the increase.

As of this writing, the increased pricing has not updated in the Order WorkBench system.

Any orders placed after today, June 14th, will be subject to the price increases.

What’s interesting to note on the last page, is that pricing increased on June 6th, but dealers were only notified yesterday.
