CONFIRMED: Production of the 2022 Corvette Ends Today

With the last shutdown of the Bowling Green Corvette Assembly plant due to a parts shortage, it was unsure when production of the 2022 Corvette would officially come to an end.

This morning, Chevy dealers received official notice of when 2022 Corvette production would end and production of the 2023 Corvette Stingray would begin.

2022 MY Build-Out and 2023 MY Start-Up Information

Production of the 2023 Corvette model year will begin with the Stingray only, followed by the long awaited, 2023 Corvette Z06 later this summer.

I dont think this correct, production on 22's stops next Thursday 5/19

My 2022 has a production date of May 18, 2022 and was one day before the final date of May 19.

The fact that they haven't corrected this story by now makes me question their reporting standards.

There were 2023 Corvettes built on the dates mentioned in the article, so you're more than welcome to question it all you want...

Interesting. Perhaps they were building 22's and 23's at the same time? Mine was built on May 12th VIN 24253

Can anyone tell me what the final production was for 2022 Corvettes? I believe mine was made on the last day of production.
