Our First Look at the 2023 Corvette Z06 in All Its Glory

As production of the 2022 Corvette model year slowly winds down with the last allocation of the model year set for next month, our attention is now turned to the long awaited 2023 Corvette Z06.

Like the introduction of the 2020 Corvette Stingray, GM decided to take the 2023 Corvette Z06 on a grand tour visiting 149 Chevy dealerships across the U.S.

MacMulkin Chevrolet of Nashua, NH which is currently the #1 Corvette dealer in the world since last year, is one of those dealers on the list.

As the sun had just set behind the hills in New Hampshire last night, the Z06 tour trailer pulled into the dealership lot and we were there to capture the arrival.  Unfortunately, with the diminishing light and a digital camera that refused to cooperate, we were only able to grab a few photos worth posting until this morning…

The Flat Plane Crank V8 Engine is a Symphony!

So what does it sound like when you fire it up?  Absolutely glorious.  It immediately barks with the sound of a pissed-off Ferrari and ever so slowly quiets down to a relatively quiet, deep-throated V8 engine at idle.  As one of the members of the Corvette Tour staff drove the car into the dealership, it didn’t sound much unlike a typical Corvette Stingray.  Have no doubt though, on the open road – this thing is going to scream!!!

All of the dealership staff that was standing around the Z07-equipped Z06 was in awe at the sound coming out of those center-mounted quad exhaust pipes.

Rather than me wax poetic about how amazing this new top dog Corvette is, I’ll let our readers be the judge with the plethora of photos we were able to grab early this morning before the crowds descended upon it.
