This Pandem Widebody 2020 Corvette Makes Us Drool

Custom built Pandem Widebody 2020 Corvette to hit the block at Barrett-Jackson and it’s got us salivating like Pavlov’s dog!

Depending on the angle, the stock C8 Corvette already has a pretty aggressive stance, but the Pandem C8 Widebody aero kit just gives it the perfect amount of oomph that it needs.

Pandem USA build some pretty impressive aero body kits for different types of cars such as Porsche, BMW, Nissan and Toyota, but the one we really love is the aero body kit they came out with for the C8 Corvette.

While the kits are designed and manufactured in Japan by Tra-Kyoto, Pandem has really taken the already beautiful lines of the C8 and accentuated them with just enough muscle and aggression to make any C8 stand out from the crowd.

Now, a 2020 Corvette, VIN equipped with Pandem’s widebody is about to cross the auction block at Barrett-Jackson’s March 20 – 27 Scottsdale auction.

This Torch Red 3LT is stuffed with factory options, including magnetic ride control, front lift, carbon-fiber interior trim, Z51 package, bright red calipers and GT2 two-tone sport seats. This is a one-off special-order Pandem C8 Widebody Aero Corvette with 20-inch front and 21-inch rear Alpha One carbon-fiber wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires, and, for added performance, C8 Valvetronic Maxflo exhaust with carbon-fiber tips and a mild tune. It’s powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission and has 700 actual miles. The interior features custom leather-wrapped instrument panel and doors, heads-up display, a Bose Performance Series 14-speaker audio system, wireless charging dock, HD front curb view camera, premium infotainment system with navigation, and heated and ventilated seats with power lumbar control.

The only drawback in our opinion is the exposed screws showing the aerobody kit’s attachment points to the C8’s stock body.  It would have been more ideal if the body panels were totally seamless.

Regardless, while it may not be for everyone, we really like the look and can only hope that Chevrolet’s upcoming Z06 will have a similar widebody, aggressive stance.
