Chevrolet has released a couple new photos of the Amplify Orange, Caffeine Metallic and Hypersonic Gray colors for the 2022 Corvette
When Chevrolet officially announced the three new colors for the 2022 Corvette model year, there weren’t many images of those colors available for Corvette fans to get a good idea of what they truly looked like.
While nothing compares to seeing a new Corvette color in person, we now have a slightly better idea of what Amplify Orange, Caffeine Metallic and Hypersonic Gray will look like covering the sleek jet fighter-like lines of the 2022 Corvette.
Early yesterday, Chevrolet updated the gallery on their 2022 Corvette page found under the Upcoming Vehicles section of Chevrolet’s site.
While some are mourning the loss of Zeus Bronze Metallic which is an amazing color, the new Caffeine Metallic which replaces it for the 2022 model year, looks like it’s going to be a home run!
The most difficult color to try and get a good feel for is the new Amplify Orange which replaces the popular Sebring Orange Metallic. From what we know, Amplify Orange will be a non-metallic, and much more bold than Sebring Orange Metallic was. Think Rapid Blue – only orange!
Chevy’s graphic designers took a couple old photos of the C8 Corvette in Sebring Orange Metallic and re-worked them to show off Amplify Orange. While they still aren’t a perfect representation of what the color will really look like in person, you can get an idea of the difference between the two colors:
