[VIDEO] The Glorious Symphony of a 2023 Corvette Z06 at the Nurburgring

Evey now and then, an engine comes along that produces such a uniquely glorious symphony, that it can bring even the strongest men, to their knees.

The sound of a Ferrari V12, a Lamborghini V12, or even a C4 Corvette ZR-1’s LT5 engine at wide-open throttle can send a shiver up your spine and tears of joy to the eyes.  Those engines make such an incredibly unique sound, that they become instantly recognizable before you even see the cars coming down the road.  Such is the case with the 2023 Corvette Z06.

Yesterday, famed Nurburging spy YouTuber, “Carspotter Jeroen” caught a few versions of the 2023 Corvette Z06 testing in and around the world famous roadway.

Without further ado, crank up the volume and enjoy!

As you can see in the video, the Z06 equipped with the high wing spoiler, established an unofficial lap time of 7:12.64 while the low-wing version reached 8:18.06.

While there are plenty of cars that have hit a lower lap time in the past, such as the Porsche 911 GT2 RS with THE record lap time of 6:38.835 established back in June, in final production trim and no other traffic to deal with, we wouldn’t be surprised if the C8 Z06 could easily hit a sub-seven minute lap time.

As expected, Corvette engineers are still silent on any juicy details regarding the Z06, but now that the bulky camouflage of the earlier prototypes has been removed, we expect to see a high performance Z07 option that will include a more aggressive aerodynamic package, cross-drilled carbon ceramic brakes, and carbon fiber wheels manufactured by Dymag.

For now, we’ll just have to wait for the official reveal on October 26th, and these incredible spy videos to keep us salivating!
