According to WKRN out of Nashville, Tennessee, Marvin Summers Jr., an 18-year-old is wanted by authorities for stealing a 1994 Corvette, shooting the owner and setting his Corvette on fire.
The Corvette was parked outside of a market on D.B. Todd Jr. Boulevard with the keys still inside when the owner came out and saw Marvin Summers, climbing in and driving off. The owners’s friends gave him a ride to chase after the Corvette where it came to a stop at a red light on Rosa L. Parks Boulevard and I-65.
The owner confronted Summers and Summers shot him in the leg and continued firing at the owner’s friends before driving off again.
Shortly after, the Corvette was found burning at 14th Avenue North and Jennings Street.
He was arrested the next day for stealing a Pontiac G6. He appeared in court last Thursday and plead guilty to a misdemeanor before being placed on probation and released from jail.
Since then, local authorities were able to connect him to the theft and destruction of the Corvette and are now searching for him for felony aggravated assault and auto theft charges.
Metro police say they’ve since connected him to the crime with the Corvette and are now searching for him on charges of felony aggravated assault and auto theft.
