Charlotte, North Carolina – A Corvette owner was seriously injured Sunday afternoon when a strong line of storms ran through Charlotte, North Carolina taking down large trees and power lines.
One of those trees came down as the Corvette was driving down West Sugar Creek Road and Conner Ridge Lane in northeast Charlotte.
A witness saw emergency crews pulling the driver out of the car and rushing him off to a local hospital for severe injuries. According to one witness, Elizabeth Beam, they had to pull the driver out of the back of the Corvette in order to get him out.
While his Corvette may be destroyed, we’re glad the owner is alive after such a harrowing experience!
