Charlotte, North Carolina – A Corvette owner was seriously injured Sunday afternoon when a strong line of storms  ran through Charlotte, North Carolina taking down large trees and power lines.

One of those trees came down as the Corvette was driving down West Sugar Creek Road and Conner Ridge Lane in northeast Charlotte.
