  • 03-31-2023:  Listed for sale on the Bring a Trailer auction website by an unknown dealer in Tampa, FL. From the listing:  "The car was acquired by the selling dealer in 2021, and recent work included repairing the voltage regulator and battery and servicing the fuel system. This C1 is now offered by the selling dealer in Florida with an NCRS Regional Top Flight award, NCRS scoring sheets, recent service records, and a clean Texas title."
  • 05-22-2021:  Listed for sale by RM Sotheby's, Amelia Island at The Ritz Carlton. From the listing:  "In 2003, it was treated to a complete restoration executed by Houston Corvette Service of Houston, Texas. This eminently presentable restoration is reported to have earned a Top Flight Award from the National Corvette Restorers Society. Chassis 227 was acquired by the consignor shortly thereafter in 2004, since which it has remained a carefully tended and rarely driven piece of their collection. During this time, the expertise of ProTeam Classic Corvettes in Napoleon, Ohio was utilized to keep the car in shape, with a complete engine rebuild executed in 2012 and a major transmission servicing in 2017."

This is #227 out of a total production of only 300. This car has been completely restored, frame off and a numbers matching car. This car Top Flighted over 97% with the NCRS. All components are correct, working and fully restored including WonderBar radio and plexiglass side curtains. Painted in lacquer paint with all original materials and fabrics. This car was restored by Houston Corvette Service in Houston, Texas and has been shown only once. Engine block, head, carbs, transmission and all components have correct numbers and are date correct."
