History of 1953 Corvette #00124.  This car has not been offered anywhere else!

The current owner of this car is a 53’ enthusiast and has had 19 of them to date.

He is passionate about them and their history as America’s first and only Sports Car.

As mater of fact, he is obsessed about them and all his friends call him the Corvette junky!  But in addition to being passionate he is extremely knowledgeable.

He will not buy one or have it restored unless the original frame, vin tag and body are intact.

He bought this car from a woman who spent 7 years taking it to places to be restored, unfortunately she was not happy with the results as she was emphatic about the process and the final finish.  So after many months she agreed to sell it.  He explained that there is vague history on the car that dates back to 1975.  However I am not in possession of it and my client does not have the facts.  This was told to him by the woman he bought it from.

It was purchased from her knowing full well he had the guy to finish the job and do it correctly to factory specs.

The present owner’s restorer in Kentucky finished the car and it is ready to be placed in a museum or collection as a center piece. ,

The restorer has done 5 1953 Corvettes for present owner and has been happy with all of them.  All are show quality examples and he is proud the way car #124 has turned out.
