1974 Corvette Production and Performance Numbers

1974 was the last year for the big block Corvette.
The chrome rear bumper from 1973 was replaced by an all new rear bumper on the 1974 Corvette which was composed of a urethane-plastic skin which covered an aluminum impact bar.
This would be the last year for Corvettes to be built without catalytic converters.
For the coupe, shoulder belts were now incorporated with lap belts to form a one piece seat belt. For the convertible, shoulder belts were still optional and still kept separate from the lap belts.
