Below is a listing of 1984 Corvette production numbers and related RPO codes.
Model Year Highlights
- 1984 was the second highest production year in the history of Corvette.
- The rear window hatch was the largest piece of glass installed on an American production automobile at that time.
- Radiator design was new incororating aluminum fins and a plastic reservoir. Brake components supplied by Girlock of Australia were new and included aluminum calipers. In order to achieve more ground clearance and lower overal height, the engine was moved more rearward necessitating the incorporation of the exhaust up into the transmission tunnel. This resulted in a large transmission tunnel design and less interior footwell room.

Note: Some exterior colors had more than one RPO. There were three exterior color combinations that combined one color on the top half of the car and one color on the bottom half of the car. This is seen in the last three exterior color code combinations as listed above.
