See Tim Allen and this ZR1 on 20/20's "General Motors: From Dream to Downfall" on ABC's website. Own one of the most collectible cars to hit the market in recent years, is Chevrolet’s ZR1 powered by a Supercharged Aluminum LS9 V8 boasting 638 horsepower paired with a 6 speed transmission. Designed to take on any and all Sports cars out there; from Ferrari’s, Lamborghini’s to Porsche’s. It could not have been said better then by Ed Peper, Chevrolets General Manager. "Chevrolet’s goal with the new ZR1 is to show what an American Super Car can deliver, at a price that trumps exotics that cost two, three or four times as much - and does so with exceptional drive-ability."
The Limited production ZR1 2009 year ended with only 1,202 if these cars being built and this was the 367th car off the assembly line that year built for Tim Allen of “Home Improvement” fame. This car comes complete with the must have 3ZR package, navigation and leather accents. Its hard to miss the ZR1’s full carbon fiber hood with the polycarbonate window showing off its 638 horses. The Carbon fiber on this machine doesn’t end there; with a full carbon fiber roof, roof bow, rocker molding, front splitter, fenders with dual lower vents!
This Celebrity Owned ZR1 is a chance to get a collectible car with a celebrity history to boot. Finished in Cyber Gray with full Ebony leather interior with the subtle factory ZR1 Jetstream Blue blue accents from the brake caliber color, motor cover, door sills, etc. The color combo on this car really works well especially since Tim Allen customized it by Powder coating the factory wheels. Excellent investment quality car that is still under factory GM warranty!
