  • 08-02-2020:  Listed for sale on Craigslist by the original owner with 23,500 miles on the odometer and three previous owners listed. From the listing:  "I am the original owner. I have sold the car to 2 of my friends over the years. Each time buying it back. Which makes me the 1st & 4th owner. So I know the entire history of the car. It was originally silver with a grey center strip. The car was vandalized in 2014 someone keyed the entire car twice. Naturally I was devastated. But I chose to see the silver lining (pun intended). I took the opportunity to do a color change to the tune of 17k all in. Luckily my friend owns a body shop. They took the car entirely apart. It was painted better than the factory. The color I chose is PPG Steel Gray from a 2000 Dodge Viper. They laid down 7 coats of clear. The entire front of of the car was PPF. Cosmetically the car is stunning. The interior received Caravaggio carbon fiber back power seats. Over 7k landed."

Car was originally silver but previous owner had it painted Steel Grey (Viper color). 23000 miles. Toyo R888R purchased Nov. 2018, approximately 1500 miles on them. Brand new Optima battery."

From the listing:  "Where to start...I took a stock extremely fast ZR1 & built it to not only look more stunning, but to be brutally fast. The car just received a $17,000 paint job. Car was originally Silver. Car is now painted 02' Dodge Viper PPG Graphite Gray. A whole gallon of clear was sprayed before it was blocked & sanded numerous times. Even the headlights were professionally separated & the rear housing was color matched to the car. The result is a absolutely stunning paint job. The ZR1 is already a very rare car in its own right. With the custom paint & nasty cam it is sure to stand out even in a field of other Vettes. The car is currently tuned for 91 octane. I run M1 Methanol as an added safety measure. The system is set up to spray Methanol when it goes into boost. It sprays into the intake. The reservoir is the windshield washer fluid tank. When you are running low on Methanol the low fluid wiper fluid light ill illuminate on the dash. While running the M1 Methanol is not necessary I am just meticulous & extra precautious. A 5 gallon drum is like $40 & lasts forever. Well for me atleast as I seldom got into the power band. I mostly just cruised down to the beach on the weekends. As it sits right now it is making 700rwhp on 91 octane. Cunningham Motorsports built the car & tunes the car. Just check any Corvette forum, those guys really know there stuff. Make no mistake about it, this ZR1 is ridiculously fast. On the stock tires from a 65mph roll on the freeway I could light the tires up. The torque is tremendous & in person the idle is intoxicating. Be prepared to draw a crowd at the gas station from young & old alike. The car plain & simple stands out. It has a unique look. It is very pleasing to the eyes & ears. The car has been babied. I am one of those meticulous owners that breaks out the toothbrush to detail the engine. AC works, stereo works. It drives like a stock ZR1 until you get on it. Most stock parts are included with the exception of the headers & exhaust. I even have the stock tires. They are about 60% tread left. There is so much to list in terms of modifications I am likely to forget a few things."
