The ZR1 took the world of exotic super cars by storm by handily beating out some of Europe's most prized entries, at a fraction of the cost. Coming from the factory with a 638 hp supercharged 6.2L LS9, carbon ceramic brakes, and weight-saving improvements throughout, the ZR1 is a true American super car.
The Hennessey ZR700 upgrade pushes the performance envelope even further, capitalizing on the ZR1's world-class platform by increasing output beyond the 700 hp mark.
This 2009 Velocity Yellow Hennessey ZR1 is the same car piloted by retired GM engineer John Heinricy to a ZR1 standing mile world record of 196.7 MPH and clocked off 10.64 @ 132 MPH in the 1/4 mile at Lonestar Motorsports Park.
In spite of its extraordinary performance numbers over factory specs, the ZR700 retains its mannered drivability and comfortable ride.
