[VIDEO] Owner Watches as his Modified 2014 Corvette Goes Up in Flames

It’s never easy to see any Corvette get into an accident or go up in flames, and this one is no exception.

On July 8th, Victor Bryie of Nashville, Tennessee was out driving his modified 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51 when the car caught on fire. From the side of the road, he watched as his beloved Corvette became slowly engulfed in flames.

By the time emergency personnel arrived, the car was almost totally engulfed.

Below is the video that Bryie took from the side of the road and posted to his YouTube channel:

The 2014 Corvette was highly modified including an MSD Atomic AirForce intake manifold, 335s in the rear that were made for a Z06, and the car was lowered to the ground enough that you could only fit a finger in between the top of the tire and the wheel wells.

In a video that Bryie posted to his YouTube channel a year ago, he stated that unless the road is perfectly flat, he runs the risk of bottoming out as the underneath of the car scrapes on the pavement causing sparks to shoot out.

The car was originally dyno-tuned at Next Level Performance in Longwood, Florida putting down 471 hp to the rear wheels. This was definitely not your stock Stingray off the showroom floor.

He didn’t provide details in the video as to what happened as he was driving down the road, but regardless, it’s never easy to see a Corvette burn to the ground.

Hopefully, Bryie will be able to replace his baby with another Corvette and get back out on the road again.
