Thursday, June 1st
 
  • CruiseFest Registration and sign-in is open from 2:00 pm until 8:30 pm in the Hospitality Room of the Baymont.
  • The National Corvette Museum (NCM) is open daily from 8 am to 5 pm.
  • Your CAC CruiseFest registration pack will contain a weekender pass to the NCM that gives you free admission and access to the NCM all weekend.
  • The GM Assembly Plant conducts weekday public plant tours for small groups at 9 am and 1 pm. The cost is $5 at the gate. They have strict regulations about clothing, safety and security- see the bottom of this page or click here for information.
  • 2:00 PM
  • CruiseFest Registration opens at the Baymont Inn in the Hospitality Room on the first floor. Sign in and pick up your registration pack and T-shirt. Registration is open until 8:30 pm today.
  • Get settled in and tour Bowling Green as you wish. Check out the Baymont Inn Web Site, the Kentucky Dept. of Tourism or www.visitbgky.com for local attractions and restaurants.

  • Baymont Inn check-in.
  • 4:00 PM
  • Lost River Cave Boat Tour (Limited availability) from 4-6 pm. Take a short drive to the Lost River Cave, where you will enjoy a boat tour of this ancient cavern that cuts through the middle of Bowling Green. There are also nature and hiking trails, bird watching, and a butterfly habitat. The cavern tour lasts for 1 hour. Not handicapped accessible.
  • Departing from, and returning to the Baymont.
  • Cost: $11.50. Must pre-register to attend.
  • 6:00 PM
  • Group Dinner at your choice of several local restaurants, or dinner on your own.
  • Group dinner departs from the Baymont immediately after the Lost River Cave boat tour.
  • 8:00 PM
  • Social Hour. Stop by the Hospitality Room to socialize with the event planners and your fellow CAC'ers, and christen your CruiseFest Commemorative Drinkware.
  • Go Kart Racing at Race World. Pay at the gate. Departing from and returning to the Baymont.

  • The National Corvette Museum ( NCM) is open daily from 8 am till 5 pm. Feel free to look around during the day. Private tours for CruiseFest participants at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm today.

Don't miss door prizes and the People's Choice Car Show Awards, and the announcement of the 2007 CruiseFest host city. A general membership meeting will begin after dinner under the Banquet Tent on the lawn of the Baymont. Corvette Action Center Site Administrator, Rob Loszewski will be on-hand to answer any questions about the forums or site, and listen to input from members. 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

  • * Bowling Green Assembly Plant Safety and Security Restrictions: Closed toe shoes (NO sandals) are a requirement for all visitors. No cameras, backpacks, purses, fanny packs or other containers may be brought into the plant except by special request (for medical reasons, etc.) Also, all electronics devices such as cell phones, camera phones, PDAs, walkie-talkies, etc. must be left in your car. Children must be seven years or older.
